Get the ad tag

To use the mobile SDK, you need to add a list of parameters (ad tag) to the app when calling an ad.

For mobile apps, we recommend that you get the insertion code at the placement level. To do this:

Go to the tab in one of the following ways:
- Sites → Your site → Sections → Placements.
- Sites → Your site → Settings → Sections → Settings → Placements.
When you find the placement, click Ad tag.
In the window that opens, copy the tag for your app type.
To use the SDK in your app, you must have an Ad Unit Id. This is a unique ID that's issued in the Yandex Advertising Network interface and has the following format: R-M-XXXXXX-Y.
To get an Ad Unit Id, create a new ad unit on the Monetization → Mobile advertising tab.
Important. If you can't see your placements on the Mobile advertising tab, make sure that your placement banner type has the “App” prefix. Learn more about banner types for apps.
Next, integrate the SDK into the app and install the ad tag:
- Banner ads.
- Interstitial ads.
- Rewarded ads.
- Native ads.
