Settings for Russian ad register

Starting September 1, 2022, any online ads displayed in Russia must be labeled a special way. Learn more on the Yandex advertising portal.

A publisher and other advertising chain participants must transfer data about a creative to the Unified Register of Online Ads (state register) and add a special advertising ID (token) when displaying ads.

Yandex and Adfox ad register tools

  • A publisher can register a creative in the state register through the Yandex advertising data operator (Yandex ORD): immediately in the Adfox interface, simultaneously with the launch of a campaign. The creative ID is automatically added to a click link while displaying a banner. You can also submit impression reports through the Adfox interface or your Partner account.

    Publishers that transfer data through another advertising data operator (ORD) and place IDs in creatives on their own can still use all the Adfox features and skip sending data to the Yandex advertising data operator.

  • All publishers can now display the required “Ad” label and indicate the advertiser when displaying a banner.

How to submit creative data via the Yandex advertising data operator

  1. The Adfox interface now has the Marking tab: data about the advertising chain participants and the contract with the end advertiser added in this tab is automatically transferred to the state register via the Yandex advertising data operator.
  2. When creating a campaign and adding a banner, special fields appear for data about the creative and the contract that the creative is placed under.
  3. Once the banner is saved, the creative is assigned an ID in the Yandex advertising data operator. When the banner is displayed, the ID is automatically added to a click link and to the banner menu (if its display is enabled in the banner parameters).

    If you place a non-clickable banner, to comply with the Russian “On advertising” act, all you have to do is include the banner menu that displays the banner token .

  4. After ad running, creative impression statistics are transferred to the state register. Publishers also submit information about invoices and revenue amounts through the Adfox interface or Partner account.
