Transferring data to the Yandex advertising data operator and getting a token
When placing ads using Adfox, you can register a creative through the Yandex advertising data operator. The creative is assigned a unique ID (token) that is added to a click link when a banner is displayed. “Self-promotion” creatives are assigned tokens similar to the regular ones.
- Step 1. Create contractors (advertising chain participants)

Step 1. Create contractors (advertising chain participants)
- In the Adfox interface, go to.
Create a contractor that will be an end advertiser:
- Click Create in the upper-right corner.
Fill out the form that opens with information about the end advertiser: the customer whose products or services you'll be advertising on your resource.
The process for labeling your own ads is given below.
- Click Create.
Create a contractor to be a party under the contract with the end advertiser:
- If you signed the contract directly with the advertiser, enter your data.
- If there's an intermediary (agency) in the advertising chain, specify the details of the agency that the end advertiser signed the contract with.
- Create the site owner contractor, whose resource you'll place ads on (if they weren't added as a contractor before).
Once the changes are saved, the contractors are assigned IDs in the Yandex advertising data operator.
- How to create a contractor for labeling self-promotion

To set up labeling for your own ads, add a contractor with your data. To do this, go to Create, enter your information, and enable the Has self-promotion contract option. Though you can select any contractor's role, we recommend selecting Customer and provider.
, clickIf you previously added a contractor with your data, select this contractor from the list on the Has self-promotion contract option and save changes.
tab. In the window that opens, enable theAfter that, a contract that is called “Self-promotion” and contains the contractor's name is automatically created. This contract is not displayed on the list of contracts and is not available for editing. You don't need to add the contract manually and can go to step 3.
A contractor can have various types of contracts: if a contractor has a self-promotion contract, it doesn't mean that other contracts with this contractor can't be added.
Step 2. Specify information about the contract with the end advertiser
- Go to.
- Click Create in the upper-right corner.
- Enter information about the contract with the end advertiser. This contract can be concluded both directly with you and with an intermediary (agency). If with an intermediary, specify the details of the contract between the intermediary and the end advertiser.
- In Contract role, select one of the options:
- Select Agreement between the Publisher and the Advertiser if the advertiser and the site owner (publisher) have a direct contract that doesn't involve any intermediaries.
- Select Agreement between the Advertiser and the Performer if the advertiser has a contract with an agency (performer), which, in turn, ordered placement from a site owner (publisher).
- Click Create. Once the changes are saved, the contract is assigned an ID in the Yandex advertising data operator.
If you plan to submit ad register reports through the Adfox interface and your advertising chain includes agencies, then you must also provide the details of the final contract. You can do this at any time: before launching the campaign, while it's in progress, or after its completion. To learn more, see Ad register reports in the Adfox interface.
Step 3. Add the ad register data to the site structure in Adfox
- At least one of the contractors added earlier is an ad distributor or advertising system operator.
- You plan to submit ad register reports through the Adfox interface.
- Go to the Sites tab and click + Add or open the settings of an existing site.
- Enable the Transfer the site to the ERIR option. The Marking section opens.
Fill in the fields:
- Placement type: Site, app, or information system.
- Name: Name of the site to be added to the ad register.
- Site URL: Site or video resource domain, blog URL, or URL for downloading the app that starts with
http://
orhttps://
. - Counterparty: Counterparty (domain, video resource, blog, or app owner) that you added on the Marking tab earlier.
- If you're adding a new site, fill in the Main section and proceed to adding sections and placements.
Step 4. Add the ad register data to a campaign
- Create a campaign by following the instructions or open the parameters of a created campaign.
- Under Settings for Russian ad register, in the Submission to ad register field, select Submit data to state register.
Do the following in the additional fields that open:
- If the campaign was created as part of a direct contract between the advertiser and the placement owner that doesn't involve intermediaries, specify the [Direct] contract in the Agreement between the Advertiser and the Performer field.
To label your own ads, select a contract named “Self-promotion”.
If your advertising chain involves intermediaries, fill in the following two fields:
- In Agreement between the Advertiser and the Performer, specify the [Primary] contract.
- In Agreement between the Publisher and the Customer (Intermediary), specify the [Final] contract.
- In the Campaign type field, specify the payment model: CPM, CPC, CPA, or other.
Filling in the OKVED field at the campaign level is not required.
In the OKVED field, you can specify the Russian Classification of Economic Activities (OKVED) code for the products or services to be advertised. If there are multiple codes, specify them as a comma-separated list.
The state register supports OKVED codes of the following types:

If you have an OKVED code of the

By default, new flights and banners inherit the ad register settings from the respective campaign. If necessary, you can disable a specific banner's ad register (see the next step).Attention. If you're editing a created campaign, set the ad register settings for the previously added flights and banners manually.- Save your changes.
Step 5. Add information about a creative to a banner
- Open the banner parameters: go to the Banners tab in the campaign parameters, find the desired banner, and click
.
- If necessary, add the “Ad” label and banner menu.Important. If a banner is non-clickable (the Transition URL field is not filled in) and it is to be added to the ad register, be sure to show the banner menu. This is the only way to make the token available when serving the banner.
- Under Settings for Russian ad register, check and fill in the following fields:
- Submission to ad register: If the creative is to be added to the ad register, select Submit creative data to state register. Once you add the banner, information about the creative is transferred to the Unified Register of Online Advertising via the Yandex advertising data operator.Note. If a specific banner doesn't need to be added to the ad register, select Do not submit creative data to state register.
- Description: General description of the advertised products or services.
- Ad distribution type: Creative format (a banner, a text and image ad, a video, and more);
- Target URL: Link to the advertiser site.
OKVED: Russian Classification of Economic Activities (OKVED) codes of the advertised product or service. By default, OKVED codes are inherited from the campaign settings, but you can change them. If there are multiple codes, specify them as a comma-separated list.
Individuals and individual entrepreneurs must indicate their OKVED. Foreign individuals need to specify their Russian OKVED.
Legal entities can leave this field empty.
- Make sure that the creative data submission to the Unified Register of Online Advertising is enabled:
If there is the
icon next to the field for your creative, this means the data about this creative will be automatically submitted to the Unified Register of Online Advertising. In this case, you don't have to fill in the fields in the Marking: creative data section.
In all banner preset templates, automatic data submission to the Unified Register of Online Advertising is enabled by default. If there is no
icon next to a parameter, but this parameter value is a creative that must be submitted to the Unified Register of Online Advertising, open the template settings and enable the usage in ad register for this parameter.
- Open the template parameters.
- In the line with the variable responsible for the creative, for the Marking parameter select a value:
- Use as URL: If you upload a creative as a file (image or video).
- Use as text data: If the variable contains a text (for example, title or banner text). For the HTML code variable, also select Use as text data.Note. You don't need to enable data submission to the Unified Register of Online Advertising for the Click URL variable.
- Click Change at the bottom of the page.
How to enable automatic data submission to the Unified Register of Online AdvertisingIn custom templates, you can set up data submission to the Unified Register of Online Advertising yourself.
To disable data submission to the Unified Register of Online Advertising in a specific banner, click the
icon so that it turns gray (
).
- If there is no automatic data submission in the template or data submission to the Unified Register of Online Advertising is disabled in the template parameters (
), enter the creative data manually. Under Creative data, be sure to fill in one of the following fields:
- Creative text data: Enter text data for the creative. If there is a lot of data, add an additional row.
- Creative file link: Add a link to a sample creative and provide its description in the Creative image description field.
- Save your changes.
- In the created campaign, go to the Banners tab and click + Add.
- Select the banner type that you specified when creating the placement.
- Select a template for your creative, such as Banner Image [context].
- Configure the banner settings. To learn more about the settings and requirements for creatives, see Banner requirements.
- If necessary, add the “Ad” label and banner menu.Important. If a banner is non-clickable (the Transition URL field is not filled in) and it is to be added to the ad register, be sure to show the banner menu. This is the only way to make the token available when serving the banner.
- Under Settings for Russian ad register, check and fill in the following fields:
- Submission to ad register: If the creative is to be added to the ad register, select Submit creative data to state register. Once you add the banner, information about the creative is transferred to the state register via the Yandex advertising data operator.Note. If a specific banner doesn't need to be added to the ad register, select Do not submit creative data to state register.
- Description: General description of the advertised products or services.
- Ad distribution type: Creative format (a banner, a text and image ad, a video, and more);
- Target URL: Link to the advertiser site.
- OKVED: OKVED codes of the advertised product or service. By default, OKVED codes are inherited from the campaign settings, but you can change them. If there are multiple codes, specify them as a comma-separated list.
- Make sure that the creative data submission to the Russian state register (Unified Register of Online Advertising) is enabled:
If there is the
icon next to the field for your creative, this means the data about this creative will be automatically submitted to the Unified Register of Online Advertising. In this case, you don't have to fill in the fields in the Marking: creative data section.
In all banner preset templates, automatic data submission to the Unified Register of Online Advertising is enabled by default. If there is no
icon next to a parameter, but this parameter value is a creative that must be submitted to the Unified Register of Online Advertising, open the template settings and enable the usage in ad register for this parameter.
