Copy campaigns
If you work with the same advertisers every month and have to regularly create ad campaigns with a similar set of banners and similar settings, use the campaign copy feature.
Note
You can't copy campaigns from external monetization platforms or transfer campaigns from one account to another.
How to copy a campaign
-
Click
→ Copy next to the campaign in the list of campaigns or on the campaign page next to its name. How it works

-
In the window that opens, select the copy options:
-
Content: Select the desired option. A copy may include flights and banners, flights only, or be created without nested objects.
-
Copy name: Give the campaign copy a name (optional). If you leave this field empty, the copy will have the same name as the original, with “copy” added at the end.
-
Status: Select a status for the campaign copy. The default status is Paused.
-
Preserve marking settings: Select this option to copy the item's labeling settings. If data transfer to the Russian state register (ERIR) was enabled for the copied banner and the creative's token came from the Yandex Advertising Data Operator, the creative will get a new token when you copy the labeling settings.
-
Number of copies: Specify how many copies you need. You can create up to 10 copies of a single item.
-
Copy periods: Periods can be set manually or inherited from the parent or source item. This simplifies bulk copying and makes it easier to set a new period for your campaigns.
-
Supercampaign period / flight period / campaign period: The period of the higher entity is set manually by dates. When copying a campaign (OLD), the field automatically inherits dates from the original campaign.
-
Flights period: Available when copying a supercampaign.

Each copy of the flight retains its original period.
Custom period
The period is set manually for all flight copies.
-
Banners period: Available when copying a supercampaign, flight, and campaign, or setting a new period for the campaigns.
Mode
Result
Same period as the parent flight or campaign
All banner copies inherit the dates of the parent flight or campaign.
Same start as the parent flight or campaign
Banner copies have the parent's start date, but no end date.
Same period as the original banner
Each copied banner retains its original period.
Custom period
The period is set manually for all banner copies.
-
You can't choose the original flight or banner dates if the periods of the original entities are outside the parent period. The hint below the option indicates what prevents you from selecting it.
Warning
When copying several flights or campaigns at once, the set of options is the same, but the copies are linked to a group of parents. This means that the period set in the Custom period option must not be outside any of the parent entities.

How it works

-
-
When copying flights and banners, you can choose a destination for the copy. By default, it's created within the current item.
-
Check the settings and click Continue.
Process and restrictions
Once you start the copying process, you'll see the progress status at the top of the page:
- Blue: In progress.
- Green: Completed successfully.
- Red or yellow: Errors.
How it works

Alert
If an error occurs during the copying process, no copies are created.
A new campaign will be created based on the selected one with the same general settings, placements, restrictions, and targeting settings. The start date for the newly created item matches the copying date. Statistics aren't copied.
If the item you're copying has an end date, the new item will keep the same run period. For example, if you copy a supercampaign set to run for 7 days, the new one's end date will be 7 days from the copy date.
The new campaign is assigned the Paused status. All of its nested items inherit their status from the original items.
