# Labeling self-promotion

In Adfox, you can label ads of your own products and services and send data to the state register. If self-promotion is subject to labeling under the Federal Law “On Advertising”, you must submit the ad data to the state register (ERIR, Unified Register of Online Advertising), even if you don't earn revenue from these ads.

You don't have to label ads distributed by advertisers, ad distributors, and ad system operators that send ad materials to email addresses or specific mailing lists.

## Registering a creative {#register}

Self-promotion creatives are assigned tokens similar to regular ones.

Register your creative in Adfox following the [instructions](https://www.yandex.com/support/adfox/en/labeling/token.md):

1. Create counterparties (participants of the advertising chain).

    To label your own ads, you need to add a counterparty with your data: open **Marking** → **Counterparties**, click **Create**, enter your details, and enable **Has a self-promotion contract**. The counterparty can have any role. We recommend **Customer and provider**.

    If you previously added a counterparty with your data, find and select them from the list in the **Marking** → **Counterparties** tab. In the window that opens, select **Has a self-promotion contract** and save the changes.

    That automatically creates a contract named “Self-promotion” that indicates the counterparty name. The contract isn't displayed in the list of contracts, and you can't edit it. You don't need to manually add the contract.

    A counterparty may have different types of contracts. A self-promotion contract doesn't prohibit adding other contracts with this counterparty.

1. Add the labeling data to your site structure in Adfox.

1. Enter labeling data to the campaign. When filling in the **Agreement between the Advertiser and the Performer** field, choose the contract named “Self-promotion”.

1. Enter information about the creative in the banner.

## How to submit an ad register report {#report}

Adfox generates monthly invoices with self-promotion statistics. To submit a report:

1. Go to **Marking** → **Invoices**.

1. Open the **Self-promotion** invoice.

1. <!-- source: en/_includes/labeling/statistics-file.md -->
   #### {#string-1}

   In the bar, click **Download a file with preliminary statistics**.
   <!-- endsource: en/_includes/labeling/statistics-file.md -->

1. <!-- source: en/_includes/labeling/statistics-file.md -->
   #### {#string-2}

   Make sure that all rows with statistics were collected correctly and that all data in the required columns is accurate. **Required columns** appear in **bold**. *Optional* columns, which are uploaded for convenience and are NOT sent to the advertising data operator, appear in *italics*.
   <!-- endsource: en/_includes/labeling/statistics-file.md -->

1. Click **Submit**.

You can edit the report by updating the value in the **Impressions by act** field and disable campaigns without impressions.
