**Introducing bulk actions and bulk action modes to manage monetization**

On the **Monetization** → **Placements** tab, you can now manage monetization settings across multiple placements.

Select a few placements and choose an action: add new Yandex Advertising Network ad units, Adfox Header Bidding monetization platforms, or external monetization platforms. You can also replace, pause, resume, or delete ad units or settings across all selected placements at once.

To learn more about the bulk actions you can use to manage monetization, see [Managing monetization across multiple placements](https://www.yandex.com/support/adfox/en/monetization/index.md#list-platforms) and [Bulk action modes](https://www.yandex.com/support/adfox/en/monetization/index.md#bulk-action-modes).

|

**Setup Header Bidding via campaigns and manual setup are disabled**

- Campaigns and banners Header Bidding are no longer shown in the campaign list, and their parameters are unavailable. Statistics and reports are saved — data on Header Bidding, including historical data, remains available.

- Connect monetizers, set up placements and targeting in the **Monetization** section — for the account, placement list, or specific placement. Manual setup is no longer available.

To learn more, see [Setting up an Adfox account for monetization with Header Bidding](https://www.yandex.com/support/adfox/en/monetization/hb-setup.md).

### {#new-labeling-v8}

#|
||
|

**Ad labeling updates**

We've made the following changes to ad labeling to support ERIR API v8:

   - Counterparty address is now required under certain conditions for **Service agreement** and **Mediation agreement** contracts. For more information, see [How to register creative content in Adfox](https://www.yandex.com/support/adfox/en/labeling/token.md#step-1).

   - Added a new invoice type: **The act of remuneration of the intermediary**. This invoice doesn't include statistics and shows the intermediary's total commission calculated from one or more intermediary reports under a single contract. You can now specify the intermediary commission amount in two ways:

      - In one or more intermediary reports.
      - In a dedicated invoice: **The act of remuneration of the intermediary**.

**Header Bidding is now configured under “Monetization”**

- Connect monetizers at the account and placement level, then set up ad delivery and targeting via the context menu. You can also customize settings for specific placements as needed.

- Starting August 10, Header Bidding campaigns and banners will be hidden from the main campaign list.

- Banners automatically appear on matching placements based on the settings selected for the monetizer, so you don't need to configure each banner separately. To turn off a monetizer for a site or placement, remove it from the placement settings under **Monetization**.

To learn more, see [Setup through the Monetization section](https://www.yandex.com/support/adfox/en/monetization/hb-setup.md#monetization-section).

### {#platform-monetization-parameters}

#|
|| June 25, 2026

|

**New list of placements in Monetization**

Added functional and visual improvements to the Monetization section:

- **All formats in one Placements tab**: Banner ads, video ads, mobile ads, and the recommendation widget now appear in the general list. Summary information can now be found in the **Parameters** tab, and reports have been moved to a separate section.

- **Flat table** instead of the “site → banner type → section” tree.

- **New columns**: **Yandex Advertising Network status** with a color indicator and **Header Bidding** with a list of connected monetizers.

- **Filters** by ad format, site, section, banner type, position, code requests, monetization type (Yandex Advertising Network / Header Bidding / no monetization), specific Header Bidding monetizers, and Yandex Advertising Network ad units.

- **Table settings**: Columns can be reordered or hidden — click the ![](_images/settings.svg) icon in the right corner.

- **Actions menu**: Added a navigation menu next to placement names for quick access to parameters, banners, as well as Yandex Advertising Network and Header Bidding monetizer settings.

To learn more, see [Monetization](https://www.yandex.com/support/adfox/en/monetization/index.md).

### {#api-methods-manage-yan}

#|
||
|

**New API methods for working with Yandex Advertising Network ad units**

The Adfox API now includes three more methods for managing Yandex Advertising Network ad units on placements:

- **createBlock**: Create a new Yandex Advertising Network ad unit and immediately bind it to a placement.

- **bindBlock**: Link an existing Yandex Advertising Network ad unit to a placement.

- **rsyaEnabled**: Enable or disable a Yandex Advertising Network ad unit on a placement.

Previously, this could only be done through the interface. Now, publishers can automate monetization setup and configure ad units on their placements in bulk using the API.

To learn more, see the Adfox API documentation: [Change history](https://yandex.com/dev/adfox/doc/en/v.1/history-doc#15062026) and [“Place” object methods](https://yandex.com/dev/adfox/doc/en/v.1/place/place#manage-blocks).

### {#new-copy-settings}

#|
|| June 24, 2026

|

**New period presets for copying**

You can now select from preset options when copying a supercampaign, flight, banner, or campaign (OLD), instead of manually entering the period each time:

- **Same period as the parent**: Fully copy the dates of the parent item.

- **Same start as the parent**: Copy only the start date, without the end date.

- **Same period as the original**: Preserve the original dates of the copied items.

- **Custom period**: Manually specify a common period for all copies.

To learn more, see [Copy campaigns](https://www.yandex.com/support/adfox/en/campaigns/copy-campaign.md) and [Copy a banner](https://www.yandex.com/support/adfox/en/banners/copy-banner.md).

||
|#

### {#aiming}

#|
|| June 16, 2026

|

**New aiming options**

You can now aim at an object in several ways, depending on where you want to test ads:

- **In any browser** where cookies are allowed.

- **Via URL parameters** — for example, in browsers without cookies or for WebView testing. This generates a link with parameters needed for aiming.

- **On devices** — on mobile devices or TVs. The aimed banner will appear on the device.

To learn more, see [Aiming](https://www.yandex.com/support/adfox/en/campaigns/bind.md).

### {#new-way-evaluate-campaign-performance}

#|
|| June 3, 2026
|

**A new method for assessing a campaign's progress**

On June 3, 2026, the **Plan compliance** metric was replaced with the **Execution forecast**, and the **Actual/Plan** column was renamed to **Actual/Prediction**.

With the new metric, you can assess the likelihood that the campaign will fully meet your plan by the end of the placement period, taking into account historical traffic, available inventory, contending campaigns, targetings, and other factors.

In addition, we added new features for managing execution forecasts. Now you can:

* Sort campaigns by execution forecast value.
* Filter by risk level:

  * High risk: Projected completion is lower than 80%.
  * Medium risk: Projected completion is between 80% and 95%.
  * Low risk: Projected completion is 95% or higher.

### {#campaigns-lack-ui}

#|
|| May 29, 2026
|

**Updated Underdelivery tab**

We've transformed the **Underdelivery** tab into a robust tool for monitoring underperforming campaigns:

- Campaigns are displayed in a two-tier **Supercampaign / Flight** hierarchy. At the supercampaign level, you can view aggregated values for limits and delivery.

- New columns: **The speed of unscrewing impressions**, **Campaign type**, and **Start / End**. The **Actual / Prediction** column shows the current campaign delivery percentage.

- Added a comprehensive filter panel so you can filter by status, underdelivery ratio (on schedule, minor lag, or severe lag), days remaining, advertiser, campaign type, level, and other parameters.

- New buttons in the upper-right corner:
   - Click the gear icon to customize columns — rearrange them or hide the ones you don't need.
   - Click **Export Excel** to export the underdelivery table.

To learn more about managing underperforming campaigns, see [Underdelivery](https://www.yandex.com/support/adfox/en/campaigns/campaigns-lack.md).

### {#crypt-segments-reports}

#|
|| May 19, 2026
|

**Yandex Crypta segments in reports**

Added new dimensions to the Report Builder: **Crypta segments category** and **Crypta segments**. You can use them to analyze your inventory's audience based on user interests and characteristics to ensure it's suitable for a future campaign's target segments.

For more information about the new dimensions, see [Targeting by audience segments](https://www.yandex.com/support/adfox/en/targeting/auditory.md#reports).

||
|#

### {#new-types-reports}

#|
|| April 17, 2026
|

**Added two new report types**

The “Audience indicators” group now includes the following campaign-level [reports](https://www.yandex.com/support/adfox/en/statistics/reports/auditorial-reports.md):

- **Distribution of users by frequency**: This report shows the distribution of a campaign's impressions by exposure frequency, indicating how many unique users have seen an ad once, twice, three times, or more. It helps you analyze the campaign's reach and see how many impressions come from repeat exposure.

- **Campaign reach**: This report helps you assess the depth of user engagements and determine how exposure frequency changes over the course of your campaign. It's used for analyzing campaigns with high frequency, monitoring overdelivery, and making frequency capping decisions. In addition, it allows you to evaluate the quality of the campaign's reach and its compliance with advertiser requirements.

|#

### {#new-monetization-parameters}
#|
|| April 10, 2026

|

**Updated monetization settings interface**

We've redesigned the **Monetization** section and the placement monetization settings. Managing your ad network connections is now easier.

What has changed:

- Updated the page structure in the **Monetization** section of the **Parameters** tab. The settings are now organized into two groups: Yandex Advertising Network ad formats and external Header Bidding monetizers.

- Added a name search feature to the Header Bidding monetizer list to help you quickly find the desired partner.

- Added filtering by monetizer status and connection type (Yandex Header Bidding / Prebid.js).

### {#company-spin-off}
#|
|| March 30, 2026

|

**Added campaign optimization goals**

In Adfox, you don't just set up ad impressions, you define how the system behaves when selecting which impressions to serve. [Added](https://www.yandex.com/support/adfox/en/campaigns/company-allocation.md) new rules:

- **Maximize clicks**: The system aims to get the highest possible number of clicks by making broader use of available traffic.
- **Optimize clicks (via targetCPC)**: Balanced option for CPM campaigns. You set a target CPC, and the system predicts the CTR, prioritizes impressions with a lower CPC, and limits impressions where clicks become too expensive.
- **Minimum VTR threshold, %**: Publishers can use this setting to set the minimum acceptable view-through rate. The system evaluates the likelihood of a full view and limits impressions on inventory where the predicted VTR is below the specified floor. This helps maintain consistent video view quality and audience engagement levels.
- **Maximize video completions**: Automatically reallocates impressions to placements where users are most likely to watch the video to the end.
- **Banner optimization by VTR**: Automatically reallocates impressions among video banners within a single campaign. It can be applied regardless of your payment model and campaign type. Adfox analyzes the performance of video creatives within a single campaign and format, and automatically reallocates impressions to the ones with the highest view-through rates. Banners with a high VTR are given more weight in the rotation, while underperforming ones gradually receive a smaller share of impressions.

Added examples of how to apply delivery rules based on advertiser goals.

Added **CPV** (cost per view), a payment model for video ads where the advertiser pays per video view. A view is counted when a specified view event occurs (for example, when the video is viewed to the end). With this model, you can focus on actual user engagement. Use it for video campaigns where the view-through rate is the key metric.

||
|#

### {#impressions-frequency}
#|
|| March 26, 2026

|

**Updated targeting by frequency**

Adfox now lets you set the maximum, **average**, and **minimum impression frequency** per user for a specific period or throughout your campaign.

- With the **minimum frequency**, you can ensure the required number of ad exposures and reduce the risk of underdelivery to your audience.
- The **average frequency** is a reference point that the system aims to achieve under impression distribution, while making their delivery more even and predictable.

All the impression frequency limits are used together and help maintain balanced reach, ad performance, and load.

For more information about the limits, see [Targeting by frequency](https://www.yandex.com/support/adfox/en/targeting/frequency.md).

<!-- ### {#updating-parameters}

#|
|| 16 марта 2026

|

**Lists of sites, sections, and placements**

Updated the inventory management interface:

- Renamed the **Sites** menu section to **Inventory**.
- Lists of sites, sections, and placements are now easier to use. Now, you can swap and hide columns by clicking ![](_images/settings.svg) in the right corner of the page. To adjust the column width, drag its borders.
- There are two ways to view all placements for a site:
   - In the site list, click **Placements** under the site name.
   - In the site list, click ![](_images/kebab-2.png) next to the site name, then select **Placements**.
- All lists now include a context menu accessible next to each list item (site, section, or placement). To open the menu, click ![](_images/kebab-2.png) in the first column to the right of the item name.

   {% cut "Available actions" %}

   {% include notitle [Menu](_includes/ad-inventory/sites.md#menu) %}

   {% endcut %}

- Updated the search function for lists to allow searching for any list item by its name or ID.
- Moved the option to search by template URL to filters. You can use it for sections with the **Dynamic definition by REFERER** option enabled.
- All lists now include new filter parameters for sorting and searching.

   {% include notitle [Filters](_includes/ad-inventory/sites.md#filters-for-news) %}

- You can now manage impressions using the **Status** option in the **Parameters** tab for site, section, and placement lists. Using statuses, you can quickly block impressions without manually deleting ad tags, pause campaigns and banners, or disable placements.
- Site lists now include a **Monetization** sitelink. Click it to open the monetization page and filter it by site.

### {#new-labeling-v7}

#|
||
|
**Ad labeling updates**

Updated ad labeling to support ERIR API v7:

1. Contracts

   - Added a display condition for the **The intermediary/attorney / commission agent/ agent under the specified agreement assumes the payment of the fee** option: the contractor must not be a foreign entity.
   - The **Information about the subject of the agreement** and **Description of the actions of the intermediary representative** fields are no longer required fields.
   - Errors in client and contractor information are now highlighted in red when you try to save a contract.

1. Invoices

   - If your final or primary contract qualifies as social advertising, you can specify either the **Social advertising** or **Social advertising by quota** flag.
   - The **Mediation agreement** field is now renamed to **Contract on behalf of**. You can use this field to specify the IDs of multiple mediation agreements on behalf of which the service agreement was concluded.
   - The **VAT rate, %** field now displays a fixed list of acceptable VAT rate values.

     You can select **Not specified** if your invoice is an **Intermediary's Report** and the final contract is an **Mediation agreement** with the intermediary function set to **Advertiser's Representative** or serves as an additional agreement to such a contract.

1. Sites

   - Smart TV and HbbTV have been added as new placement types in site labeling parameters.
   - Now, if you disable labeling for a site or remove it from Adfox, you won't be able to transmit its ad delivery statistics.

||
|#

### {#company-allocation}

#|
|| December 12, 2025

|
**New campaign delivery rules**

The updated ad delivery management system in Adfox allows publishers to flexibly adjust their payment models and campaign optimization rules. This mechanism makes your ads more effective, increases platform revenue, and helps you maintain stable utilization of your ad inventory.

We have also added a CPC payment model for campaigns. You can now pay for your ad campaigns based on the number of **actual clicks** rather than impressions. CPC campaigns can compete with CPM campaigns as part of **Dynamic monetization**.

- **Minimum CTR threshold, %**: Publishers can use this setting to set the minimum acceptable CTR value. Our system uses a machine learning model to estimate the likelihood of a click and **excludes impressions for which the predicted CTR falls below the specified floor**. This helps maintain a stable traffic quality. These campaigns don't support the CPC payment model.

  {% note warning %}

  The system relies on the predicted click likelihood, so the actual campaign CTR may differ from the specified value.

  {% endnote %}

- **CTR-based creative optimization**: Automatically reallocates impressions among banners within a single campaign. It can be applied regardless of your payment model and campaign type. This mechanism aims to boost the effectiveness of ad delivery by increasing the share of effective banner impressions. and gradually decreasing the number of impressions for banners that don't do well.

||

### {#no-edit-reports}

#|
|| November 27, 2025

|
**Restriction on editing invoices and statistics**

Invoices and statistics submitted for the quarter are now available for editing only for one month and 25 days after the quarter ends.

For example, you can't edit invoices and statistics for the first quarter after May 25. By this date, the data has already been sent to the ERIR to calculate the advertising fee. Such invoices have the **Accepted by the ERIR** status in Adfox and the on-hover tooltip shows them as non-editable.

For details on editing invoices, see [Editing invoices and deadlines for making changes](https://www.yandex.com/support/adfox/en/labeling/report.md#edit).

||
|#

### {#target-os}

#|
|| November 17, 2025

|
**Updated targeting by operating system and browser**

Updated the list of browser and operating system versions available for targeting. Removed outdated versions that are no longer in use. For example:

   - for Google Chrome, the service displays versions 117, 118, 119, and later, while all outdated versions with a low share of impressions are grouped under **Unknown**.

The “Operating systems” section now separately lists **TV operating systems** (Smart TV OS), which include Smart TV versions of webOS, Tizen, VIDAA, and others.

In the Report Builder, you can now **add dimensions and filters** by browsers and operating systems to track statistics for them.

||
|#

### {#max-at-beginning}

#|
|| November 10, 2025

|
**New ad running speed: “Frontloaded (Faster at Start)”**

The form for creating campaigns now includes a new ad running speed, “Frontloaded (Faster at Start)”.

Impressions are distributed unevenly: the system schedules more impressions in the first days of placement. This reduces the risk of campaign underdelivery if the available inventory gets unexpectedly limited at the end of the campaign period.

To learn more about the new speed, see [Add a campaign](https://www.yandex.com/support/adfox/en/campaigns/add-new.md#max-at-beginning).

- Recommended: Computer vision algorithms determine the appropriate code when you upload a creative image.

- Recently used: Five values most frequently used in your campaigns.

For the **General description of the advertised object** field, computer vision algorithms generate a description based on the uploaded creative image. If the creative is uploaded as an HTML code, a video, or a GIF file, you won't be able to generate the description automatically. In this case, fill in the field manually.

To learn more about filling out the fields, see [Registering a creative in Adfox](https://www.yandex.com/support/adfox/en/labeling/token.md#step-5).

|| March 2025

|
**Ad labeling updates**

By March 28, 2025, we'll update the labeling to support ERIR API v6:

1. Contracting parties

    For contracting parties of the **Entity** type, the **CHECKPOINT** field will be added.

1. Contracts

    The **Social advertising contract by quota** option will be added. All banners in a campaign under this contract will be considered banners placed by a social advertising operator.

1. Banners

    The **Creative image description** field will be removed from the Adfox interface.

1. Invoices

    - When creating or editing an invoice, you'll need to select its type:

       - **The act of completed works**: If the end contract type is **Service agreement** or **Additional agreement** to **Contract**.

       - **Intermediary's Report**: If the end contract type is **Mediation agreement** or **Additional agreement** to **Intermediary contract**.

    - The list of available values for the **The role of the customer** and **The role of the performer** will feature a new value, **Broker**.

    - The **The amount without VAT** and **The amount including VAT** fields will become required. Values for the **VAT rate, %** and **The amount of VAT** fields will be calculated automatically. Check these amounts before sending the invoice to the ERIR. If you need to change the amounts, proceed to editing the invoice.

    - For the **Intermediary's Report** invoice type:

       - The **Report** and **Date of the report** fields and will be added.

          If your document set only includes an **Intermediary's Report**, specify its number and date in the **Report** and **Date of the report** fields.

          If your document set includes both an **Intermediary's Report** and an **invoice**, specify the number and date of the intermediary's report in the **Report** and **Date of the report** fields. The number and date of the invoice should be indicated in the **Act** and **Date of the act** fields. The intermediary's report will include the data for both the report and the invoice.

       - The fields with the intermediary's revenue amounts will become required: **The amount without VAT** and **The amount including VAT**. Values for the **VAT rate, %** and **The amount of VAT** fields will be calculated automatically. Check these amounts before sending the invoice to the ERIR. If you need to change the amounts, proceed to editing the invoice.

### {#new-bulk-editing}

#|
|| January 22, 2025

|
**Bulk editing of items**

1. You can now bulk edit items. Delete and copy multiple items at once and update some of their parameters.

   - Here's what you can change **in the list of campaigns and flights**:

      - Campaign status and level.

      - CPM and CPC.

      - Ad running period (**Start / End** column).

      - Impression and click limits.

   - **In the list of banners**, you can change:

      - Ad running period.

      - Impression and click limits.

      - Ad label and banner menu parameters.

1. To start bulk editing, select the items you need from the list. You'll see how many you've selected, plus a drop‑down list of parameters you can edit.

   {% cut "How it works" %}

   ![](_images/new-bulk-editing-2.jpg =700x){style="border: solid 1px #cccccc"}

   {% endcut %}

1. If one or more selected items can't be edited, the selected parameter is grayed out. Hover over the parameter to see the reason.

   {% cut "How it works" %}

   ![](_images/new-bulk-editing-3.png =700x)

   {% endcut %}

1. In edit mode, modified fields are marked with a blue dot.

### {#copy-objects}

#|
|| January 10, 2025

|
**Copying supercampaigns, flights, and banners**

![](_images/copy-supercampaign.png){style="border: solid 1px #cccccc; max-width=500px"}

1. You can now copy an item on its page or from the general list. To do this, find the item and click ![](_images/kebab-banner.png =25x) → **Copy**.

1. To flexibly configure the copying settings, fill out the form:

   - **Copy with content** / **Copy without content**: Select **Copy with content** to copy all nested items (for a supercampaign, these can be flights and banners). **Copy without content** indicates that the copy won't include any nested items.

   - **Preserve marking settings**: Select this option to copy the item's labeling settings:

      - For supercampaigns and flights, this includes the contract and advertiser information.

      - For banners, this is a third-party token, ad label, banner menu, and creative media data.

      For the newly created copy, data transfer to the Russian state register (ERIR) is disabled. To transfer data for this item, select **Marking procedure** → **Submit data to state register** in the settings of a newly created copy of the item.

      {% note warning %}

      If data transfer to the Russian state register (ERIR) was enabled for the copied banner and the creative's token came from the Yandex Advertising Data Operator, the creative will get a new token when you copy the labeling settings.

      {% endnote %}

   - **Number of copies**: Specify how many copies you need. You can create up to 10 copies of a single item.

   {% cut "How it works" %}

   ![](_images/copy-parameters.png =500x){style="border: solid 1px #cccccc"}

   {% endcut %}

1. When copying flights and banners, you can choose a destination for the copy. By default, it's created within the current item.

1. Once you start the copying process, you'll see the progress status at the top of the page:
   - Blue: In progress.
   - Green: Completed successfully.
   - Red or yellow: Errors.

   {% cut "How it works" %}

   ![](_images/copy-progress.png =700x){style="border: solid 1px #cccccc"}

   {% endcut %}

   {% note alert %}

   If an error occurs during the copying process, no copies are created.

   {% endnote %}

1. The start date for the newly created item matches the copying date.

    If the item you're copying has an end date, the new item will keep the same run period. For example, if you copy a supercampaign set to run for 7 days, the new one's end date will be 7 days from the copy date.

1. When you copy a supercampaign or a flight, the new item gets the **Paused** status. All its nested items inherit their status from the original items.
