The Smart Camera in Yandex Browser for Mobile can analyze photos to recognize printed text in different languages. Copy text from a slide, share your favorite quote from a book on social media, or use Yandex to find a concert ticket based on the name from a poster. It’s more convenient than typing text manually.
Note
Allow Yandex Browser to access your camera and files in the device settings.

Open Yandex Browser.

On the home screen, tap
in the SmartBox. -
Switch to the Text mode.

Point the camera to the text. The camera will recognize the text and highlight it in white.

Select the text:

To select part of the text, tap the first word and move the slider to the right.

To select the entire text, take a photo or pick an image from the photo gallery (in the lower-right corner, tap the round icon with a thumbnail of the latest photo). If you need to shorten the text, use the slider.

Select an action:

Share: Share the text on social networks.

Copy: Copy the text to the clipboard.

Search: Search for the text in Yandex.
