# Remove a business

## I want to remove information about my business {#owner}

You can't delete information about a business from Yandex Maps completely. Profiles of defunct, temporarily closed, and relocated businesses are also shown on Yandex Maps. If a business is defunct, it's marked as closed on Yandex Maps.

If you are the [owner of a business](*owner) and your business closed at the listed address or moved to a different location, you can remove it from Yandex Business.

Go to the [Businesses](https://yandex.com/sprav/companies/) page, find the company, click ![](../_assets/menu.png), and select one of the options:

- **Hide from my account** — The business will be removed from your list, and you won't be able to manage the listing in the future.
- **Delete from the Yandex Business database** — The business will be published on Yandex Maps with the **Shut down** status. The business will be deleted from your account.

## The business is not located at the given address {#closed}

If you discovered that there is no business at the address provided on Yandex Maps:

1. Find your business on [Yandex Maps](https://yandex.com/maps/).
1. Under **Overview** in the company profile, select ![](../_assets/fix-it.png) **Edit information** or **Edit info**.

1. Select **Closed or doesn't exist**.
1. Specify the reason.
1. Optional. Add a comment and photos.
1. Click **Submit**.

Our experts will check your information and remove the company profile if needed.
