How to create a campaign

Direct Commander doesn't support creation and editing of Campaign Wizard and Quick start campaigns.

In Direct Commander, you can create campaigns of the following types:

To create and edit a campaign:

  1. (for agencies only) In the Clients tab, select the client for whom you're creating a campaign.

  2. (manager accounts only) In the Accounts tab, select the managed account for which you are creating the campaign.

  3. On the Campaigns tab, click Add and select the campaign type.

  4. Edit the campaign settings in the Editing, Advanced settings and Notifications sections in the Inspector, if necessary.

  5. Press Ctrl + S (Cmd ⌘ + S on MacOS) or click the Save button at the bottom of Inspector.

  6. Add ad groups if needed.

    This item is optional: you can upload a campaign to the server without ad groups.

  7. Check that the campaign is ready to be uploaded to the server, i.e., it is marked with the icon.

    The icon means that your campaign contains errors: not all required parameters are set or values of some parameters are invalid, or ad groups contain errors. Hover over to find out where the error is. Learn more

  8. Upload the created campaign to the Yandex Direct server.

Tip

To quickly create multiple campaigns with similar settings, click Add as many times as you need, then select all the created campaigns and make identical settings in the Inspector.
