# How to propagate a field value to multiple objects

A field value of one object can be propagated to multiple objects on the tab. This batch editing method is particularly useful for fields that can't be copied as plain text, such as **Display region**, **Bid adjustments**,**Callouts**, and **Businesses**.

You can propagate the value of any editable field on the tab, except **Image**.

- Propagate to all objects on the tab

  1. Select the object to copy the value from.

  1. Right-click in the field you want to copy the value from, and select **Set field for all objects** from the menu.
  

- Propagate to selected objects only

  1. Select the objects to copy the value to. Also select the object to copy the value from.
  
  1. Right-click in the field you want to copy the value from, and select **Set field for all objects** from the menu.
