# First launch of Direct Commander

On the first launch, Direct Commander will ask your Yandex Direct username.

1. In the field, enter the username associated with the account you want to connect, then click **Log in via browser**. To log in to a Yandex ID organization account or a manager account, enter the corresponding username.

1. The browser opens a page with the **Sign in with Yandex** window. If the page fails to open, click ![](../_assets/quest.png) and copy the URL.

1. Make sure that you're logging into an account that has access to the username you specified in the first step. To select the desired account, click **Choose an account**.

    To log in to your personal account, agency account, or manager account, click **Log in as <your username>**. To log in to a Yandex ID organization account, click **Log in as Employee**.

1. Copy the confirmation code and enter it in the Direct Commander window.

1. Click **Log in**.

If you don't have a campaign in Yandex Direct, you can [create one in Direct Commander](https://www.yandex.com/support/direct-commander-new/en/campaigns/add.md). If you have a campaign, download the data from the server. To do this:

- For advertisers 

  1. Download the campaign list from the server. To do this, click **Download** and select **Campaign list**.

  1. In the **Campaigns** tab, select one or multiple campaigns you would like to work with.

  1. Download data for the selected campaigns from the server. To do this, click **Download** and select **Main data (fast)**.

- For agencies
  
  1. Download the client list from the server To do this, click **Download** and select **Client list**.

  1. On the **Clients** tab, select the client you want to work with.

  1. Load a list of campaigns for the selected client from the server. To do this, click **Download** and select **Campaign list**.

  1. In the **Campaigns** tab, select one or multiple campaigns you would like to work with.

  1. Download data for the selected campaigns from the server. To do this, click **Download** and select **Main data (fast)**.

- For a manager account
  
   - To get a list of campaigns for a manager account:

     1. Click **Download** and select **Campaign list** from the menu.

     1. In the **Campaigns** tab, select one or multiple campaigns you would like to work with.

     1. Download data for the selected campaigns from the server. To do this, click **Download** and select **Main data (fast)**.

   - To get a list of campaigns for managed accounts:
  
     1. Download the managed account list from the server. To do this, click **Download** and select **List of available accounts**.

     1. In the **Accounts** tab, select the managed account you want to work with.

     1. Download a list of campaigns for the selected account from the server. To do this, click **Download** and select **Campaign list**.

     1. In the **Campaigns** tab, select one or multiple campaigns you would like to work with.

     1. Download data for the selected campaigns from the server. To do this, click **Download** and select **Main data (fast)**.
