How do I remove the queries I don't need from my new pay-per-conversion campaigns?

On the statistics page, you can disable impressions for ineffective keywords. You can also add keywords with negative keywords when you create or configure campaigns. To do this, specify them in the field for adding related terms.

How do I add UTM tags for sitelinks?

You have to enter UTM tags manually at the moment.

Are there any rules for entering related terms?

There are no rules for related terms at the moment. Related terms are the topics that Yandex Direct uses to set up ads in search results and on the Yandex Advertising Network.

Can I edit the age category in more detail?

You can't edit the age in more detail at the moment. The same settings are available for other campaign types in Yandex Direct.

Can I split impressions between ad platforms in a campaign created for the Yandex Advertising Network and search results?

This option is not supported. Algorithms select the most effective ad placement for you. A campaign is created both for search results and the Yandex Advertising Network.

I can't see images after I create a campaign using the Campaign Wizard and enter the link

After you specify a link to your site, an image must be automatically added to the ad. Sometimes, the Campaign Wizard fails to automatically upload images from sites. We are constantly improving our algorithms for image search and image upload to minimize such situations. For now, we recommend that you upload images from your computer instead.

How do I add contact information?

If your company has been added to Yandex Business with the advertised site domain specified, the Campaign Wizard will automatically suggest adding this information to the ad.

How do I delete a campaign?
Note. If a campaign was already launched, you can't delete it, only archive it.

To delete an ad campaign that was saved as a draft, click to the left of the campaign and choose Delete.

To archive an active ad campaign, click to the left of it and choose Archive.

Tracking effectiveness

Can I get a guaranteed placement?

You can't guarantee a specific ad placement, even with a manual strategy. Bids compete for the target traffic regardless of the ad placement. Ads with higher indicators (CTR forecast, CPC, and the quality coefficient) are placed best on search or are displayed with an expanded design (with additional information provided by the advertiser, images, and other ad elements). Can I find out my CPC?

The CPC isn't fixed in Yandex Direct. It's determined as a result of auctions between advertisers. For a calculation example, see VCG auction. The CPC is constantly changing, so you can't see it anywhere in Yandex Direct.

The Campaign Wizard will automatically select the most optimal bids within the weekly budget. If you set up pay-per-click, you will pay only for them.

My campaign can't find a tag or its goals

Make sure that:

  • The tag is installed on the advertised page.
  • You have access to viewing statistics.
  • You had at least one unique user on the site over the past week.

Terminology

What does the click forecast mean?

The click forecast depends on the audience that you select in the campaign settings. Yandex Direct calculates it based on the historical data (for example, how often users click ads with certain related terms, on average).

Note. The actual clicks may differ from the forecast.
What does the conversion forecast mean?

The conversion forecast depends on the CPA you set and the audience you select in the campaign settings.

We recommend that you set the CPA according to Yandex Direct suggestions or your existing statistics. If your CPA is too low, Yandex Direct may fail to find users matching the campaign settings so your ad will attract fewer customers.
