What is a cabinet?

Cabinet is the management center for your business on Yandex Market. It allows you to manage sales, connect new models, and manage employee access.

There may be one or more shops inside the cabinet. Stores differ from each other in their sales settings. To the buyer, all the stores in the same cabinet look like the same seller with the same name. More information about what a store is on the Market

When you need multiple cabinets

As a rule, one cabinet is enough to work on the Market. You can add another one (or several) only if:

• You are going to sell products from a completely new category: for example, you have a clothing store and you want to sell car floor mats as well.

• You are going to develop another brand and want to sell only this brand's products in the store.

  The name of the new store should correspond to its assortment and differ from the name that is already used on the Market.

  Example

  You already have a Home Improvement store and you sell textiles and tableware there. You are going to create a new store and sell greenhouses, fertilizers, garden tools — call this store "For cottages".

• You have several registered store names, and you want all of them to be present on the Market showcase. In this situation, you need to have several cabinets (one for each trademark), even if the products are the same.

In all other situations, you cannot create a new account.

How to switch between accounts and stores

To switch between cabinets, click on the name of your business in the lower-left corner, and then select the one you want. To switch between stores, use the drop-down list in the upper-right corner.

The detailed statistics of your stores is available in the cabinet: information about orders, the quality index, the cost of Market services, and so on.

How to move stores to a new account

To transfer stores, send a request in the dashboard: Communication → Support → Create a request → Personal Account Settings.

If you want to merge stores into a cabinet and they are registered with different logins, the support staff will help you transfer the stores to one login, and then merge them. Stores registered with different logins cannot be combined without migration.
