How to pay for Market services

Payment for the services of the Market is automatic — the Market deducts the cost of most of the services rendered from the payments of your customers immediately after the order. Customer payments will be coming in to your payment partner after deduction of the service fee.

The market withholds fees for placing goods on display, accepting and transferring payments from the buyer, delivering to the buyer and promoting with the help of a sales boost.

If there are not enough payments from buyers

Sometimes customers' payments may not be enough to pay for the services of the Market — then the missing amount will be deducted from new payments.

You can see the service fee for which orders the Market has withheld in the payment report — in the cabinet on the page Accounting. If the seller has a debt for the services of the Market, the payment partner will warn him about it.

Usually, customer payments may not be enough in two cases:

• The amount for the services of the Market is greater than the amount of the buyer's payment.

  Example

  The buyer ordered the product for 600 rubles. The sum of the Market's services, together with the delivery, amounted to 700 rubles.

  The Market will deduct 600 rubles from the buyer's payment, and the missing 100 rubles from new payments for orders.

• When placing an order, the buyer took advantage of a discount at the expense of the Market, so part of the fee was accrued with Market points.

  Example

  The buyer placed an order for the product for 1000 rubles and paid 300 rubles with a card, and 700 rubles with Plus points. The amount of services on the order was 400 rubles.

  The Market will deduct 300 rubles as payment for services, and 700 rubles will be credited to the seller with Market points.

  The missing 100 ₽ for full payment of services will be deducted from the following payments of buyers.

You can check the amount of payments for orders and deductions for Market services in your account — in the reports on the page Accounting.

There is no information in the reports about how much your payment partner has withheld for their services, only your settlements with the Market. To find out more details or to receive the closing documents at the end of the month, contact your partner directly.
