How to combine product variants on one card

The characteristics that distinguish one option from another are in the blocks Distinctive and Key on the product editing page and in the Excel template. You can combine only products on one card that differ in the characteristics of the variant and do not differ in anything else.
Warning
Fill in the fields in both blocks correctly so that the product falls into the correct filters and interested buyers see it.
Example
For products of the category Soft toys There are many different characteristics: color, theme, filler, nature of sound effects, and so on.
The characteristics of the option include three of them: the key — The color of the product for the filter, and distinctive — Height and The color of the product for the card.

Therefore, it is possible to make a single page with teddy bears of different colors and sizes. And it is impossible to combine bears made of different materials or those who can and cannot squeak on one card.
In the office

Add any product option in the section Products → Catalog → Download products.

Then open the page of this product, click the button and choose Add another option.

Ask The name of the group of options. It must be unique for this product category.

To add another option, click Add and choose Product from the catalog or New product.
You can also copy a ready-made version with all the fields filled in, and then edit it. Press the button next to the desired option and select Copy.

Fill in the distinguishing characteristics for the product variant — for example, color and size.

Upload images of this product variant.

When you're done, click Save and complete.
Before saving, the Market will check whether everything is correct: all required fields are filled in and there are no duplicate product variants. If there are errors, follow the recommendations on the page, and then click again Save and complete. If everything is in order, you will return to the product page.
Using an Excel template by category
- Separately add each of the product variants to the catalog.
- Download and open the template for the category to which the product belongs.
- In the field The name of the group of options for each option, specify the same number or combination of letters and numbers — unique within this product category.
- Download the template in the section Products → Catalog → Download products → A lot of goods → By Category.

How many products can be combined on the card
Up to 500 product variants can be combined on one card. It is better if there are not too many of them — so that it is easier for the buyer to navigate on the card, and he does not get confused.
What to do if the merge fails
If you don't see the button Add another option or there is no field for the desired characteristic on the product page, which means that this product cannot have other options, or the Market controls the combination of options.
And if the options are displayed incorrectly
Write to the support service: Communication → Support → Create a request → Catalog and cards. The market will check the card.
