How to fill in size data

Sizes need to be specified for clothing, footwear, and accessories. Correct parameters will help the buyer avoid making a mistake with their choice, and help you reduce the number of returns due to "wrong size" and save on return logistics.

Follow Market's prompts to fill in all fields correctly.

For some categories, in addition to the size grid and size, you also need to select a size table. Download the list of categories

Gradually there will be more of them, stay tuned for updates.

How to choose a size grid and specify the size

Size grids within tables differ depending on the standard they correspond to. For example:

You sell men's sneakers with an insole length of 27.5 cm. Depending on the selected grid, the size will be different:

  • In the RU grid — 42;
  • In the US grid — 9.5;
  • In the EU grid — 43;
  • In the UK grid — 8.5.

Most often, buyers rely on the Russian size grid. If you specify another one, Market will show both options on the card, but the Russian size will be in the first place.

How to choose a size table

Choose an already existing size table when creating a product card, or add a new table for your products.

What tables are there:

  • Standard from Market – already created by Market and automatically matched to your chosen category, brand, and gender. They cannot be edited; all grids and sizes inside are universal.
  • Your own tables – those that you created yourself. Suitable if you have your own brand, a unique size range, or products that run small or large. How to create a table

If your size designations differ from standard ones

The actual size must be the same as the size on the card — the buyer relies on this data.

If you supply products to the warehouse under the FBP model

Upon receipt, Market checks the size correspondence – if the actual size and the data on the card differ, the product may not be accepted.

Your non-standard size can be specified when creating a table in the Your grid field. Also specify how your size relates to the RU size and others.

Examples:

The sneaker size on the tag is 37. Their actual size in the RU grid is 36.5. Specify in the fields:

  • RU — 36.5
  • Your grid — 37

The T-shirt size on the tag is Small. The actual size in the INT grid is S. Fill in the fields:

  • Size — S
  • Your grid — Small

In the storefront card, the RU size will always be the main one, and your size will be below it. In the size table, your non-standard values will always be at the end of the list — after the Russian size and others.

How to create your own size table

Your own table will help you not depend on Market's standard values. This is especially important if your products have unique features of cut, fabrics, or differ from most standard models. Cards will become more understandable for the buyer, and it will be easier for them to make the right choice.

  1. Go to the Products → Size tables section or click Add table directly in the card – to do this, in the Sizes block, expand the drop-down list with size tables and click Add new.

  2. Come up with a name – only you will see it. The buyer will see an automatically generated title if they open the Size table on the product card.

    Example

  3. Select the size type – it is linked to the category. Market will automatically select suitable grids and measurements for the product from which you can choose.

    Example

  4. Edit the columns in the table – enter your values in at least 2 columns (for example, for RU and INT grids). You can enter data in any order – after saving the table, Market will arrange the values from smallest to largest.

  5. Save the table. If there are errors in it – Market will highlight them and tell you how to fix them.

The tables you have already created are saved as templates. You can use them again to create new tables whenever you want.

You can combine products from the same size table and size grid on one card
