If you do not have the time or opportunity to take a professional photo of your products for the Market, you can show the product on a virtual background using Yandex artificial intelligence — the YandexART neural network.

How to start background generation

The neural network will generate a background for the product, taking into account the characteristics of the category: for example, YandexART will draw washing powder on the background of the bathroom, and a pack of cereal in the kitchen. The neural network generates unique images — only you will have such a background.

To start the generation, upload a photo, click on the pencil icon and select Create a background with YandexART.

The neural network will show several options — select the ones you like and click Save. If none of the options fit, click Create again — the neural network will create new backgrounds.

Generation will not be able to run on images that the neural network created earlier.

Photo recommendations

Which photos will work best:

• the product should be a separate item — the neural network is still learning how to select the background for the goods that need to be depicted in action or together with other objects. For example, it will be difficult to generate a background for a built-in dishwasher or a removable feeding table;
• on a white or light monochrome background;
• good quality (from 1024 pixels in height or width);
• the position of the product is vertical or horizontal;
• there should be nothing superfluous in the frame — only the product without any additions;
• if there are several products in the photo, they must be located on the same level;
• a direct angle — if the product should stand against the wall;
• without protruding small or thin parts.
