How to edit a SKU

There are two ways to change the ID value:

  1. Choose Products → Catalog.
  2. Find the desired product in the list and click on its name.
  3. The product page opens — enter the new SKU value.
  4. Click Save.

  2. In the upper right corner, click Upload products and then select Changing the SKU → Download the template.
  3. When the file is generated and downloaded, open it and enter the old and new SKU in the appropriate lines.
  4. Upload the file back to the Market. If you make a mistake somewhere, the Market will report it on the download page — correct the errors and attach the file again.

The SKU changes within a few minutes throughout the office.

What is important to consider

  • If you update the data in your account using automatic methods make sure that the SKU has changed in all your systems — otherwise, when updating the old SKU, duplicates of products will appear in the catalog.

  • If you are working on the FBY model, for some products on the delivery page in the column Your SKU two IDs will be displayed. The one you specified can be edited. The second one is the internal SKU of the Market, it cannot be edited. The Market assigns this ID if it was unable to use your SKU. According to the second SKU, you can also track the movement of goods in all reports.
