How to suspend and resume the sale of goods

You can suspend the sale of any product by adding it to the archive — such products are hidden from the Market showcase. You can always restore the product from the archive and resume the sale.

You can also hide an item from the assortment of a particular store. And also — temporarily disable the warehouse: this will stop the sale of all goods in one store.

Move to the archive

The product will be hidden from the display in all cabinet stores. It will take about 15 minutes.

You cannot archive items that are still in the Market's warehouse. You must first sell the leftovers or take the goods out of the warehouse, after that they can be archived.

In the catalog

  1. Open Products → Catalog.
  2. Mark the products and click Move to the archive.

The first way:

  1. Choose Products → Catalog.
  2. Find the desired product in the list and click on the three dots on the right.
  3. Click Move to the archive.

The second way:

  1. Open the product page.
  2. In the upper left corner, click Actions → Move to the archive.

Using an Excel file

  1. On the page Products → Catalog click Upload products.
  2. Choose a common template All products at once or a category template By category.
  3. There is a column in the templates Archive. Specify in it Yes to suspend the sale of an item. If the cell is empty, it is considered that it contains No, and the product is not hidden.
  4. Upload the file to the Market.

Using automation tools

You can archive products via auto-update (YML) and via the API:

You can view archived products in the section Products → Catalog on the tab Archive.

Archived items can be edited.

Restore from Archive

The product will return to the storefront of those stores where the terms of sale are specified — the price is set and the leftovers are transferred. It will take about 15 minutes. In other stores, it will remain hidden until you specify the terms of sale.

In the catalog

  1. Open Products → Catalog and go to the tab Archive.
  2. Mark the products and click Restore from Archive.

Using an Excel file

  1. On the page Products → Catalog open the tab Archive.
  2. Download the product file. There is a column in the file Archive. Specify in it No or erase it Yes and leave it empty to restore the product from the archive.
  3. Upload the file to the Market.

Hide an item from a showcase in one store

If you need to hide an item only in one of the cabinet stores:

  1. Open Products → Catalog.
  2. Mark the products and click Hide from the showcase.
  3. Select the stores from whose storefronts you want to hide products.
  1. Open the product page and scroll down to the section Placement in stores.
  2. Activate the switch Hide from the showcase in the block of the desired store.

Suspend all sales in one store

This method is only suitable for stores operating under the FBS or DBS model.

If you need to hide all products, disable the warehouse for a while: in the cabinet, select Logistics → Warehouses, check the boxes next to the desired warehouse and click Unplug. Within 30 minutes, customers will stop seeing the products of this store on the Market. If new orders arrive in time, they will need to be processed.
