How to pause and resume product sales

You can watch instead of reading

Add products to the archive — this hides them from the Market showcase. You can always restore a product from the archive and resume sales.

You can also hide a product from sales in a specific store. Additionally, you can temporarily disable a warehouse: this will stop sales of all products in one store.

Move to archive

The product will be hidden from the showcase in all stores within the dashboard. This takes approximately 15 minutes.

For the FBP model

Products that are still in the Market warehouse cannot be archived. You must first sell off the remaining stock or remove the products from the warehouse; only then can they be archived.

In the catalog

  1. Open Products → Catalog.
  2. Select the products and click Move to archive.

First method:

  1. Select Products → Catalog.
  2. Find the required product in the list and click the three dots on the right.
  3. Click Move to archive.

Second method:

  1. Open the product page.
  2. In the top left corner, click Actions → Move to archive.

Using an Excel file

  1. On the Products → Catalog page, click Upload products.
  2. Select the general template All products at once or the category template By categories.
  3. The templates contain an Archive column. Enter Yes to pause sales of the product. If the cell is empty, it is considered No, and the product remains visible.
  4. Upload the file to Market.

Manage the archive

You can view archived products in the Products → Catalog section on the Archive tab.

Archived products can be edited.

Restore from archive

The product will return to the showcase of stores where sales conditions are specified — i.e., where a price is set and stock levels are provided. This takes approximately 15 minutes. In other stores, it will remain hidden until you specify the sales conditions.

In the catalog

  1. Open Products → Catalog and go to the Archive tab.
  2. Select the products and click Restore from archive.

Using an Excel file

  1. On the Products → Catalog page, open the Archive tab.
  2. Download the file with products. The file contains an Archive column. Enter No or delete Yes and leave it empty to restore the product from the archive.
  3. Upload the file to Market.

Hide a product from a store showcase

If you need to hide a product in one or several stores within the dashboard:

  1. Open Products → Catalog.
  2. Select the products you want to hide.
  3. Click the button with three dots and select Hide from showcase.
  4. Select the stores from whose showcases the products should be hidden.
  1. Open Products → Catalog.
  2. Select at least one product you want to hide.
  3. Click Select all.
  4. Click Hide from showcase.
  5. Select the stores from whose showcases the products should be hidden.
  1. Open the product page and scroll down to the Placement in stores section.
  2. Enable the Hide from showcase option in the block for the required store.

Pause all sales in one store

This method is suitable only for stores operating under the FBS and FBS Last Mile models.

If you need to hide all products, temporarily disable the warehouse: in the dashboard, open Stock → Warehouses, check the boxes next to the required warehouse, and click Disable. Within 30 minutes, buyers will stop seeing this store's products on Market. If new orders arrive during this time, they must be processed.
