Rules for packing orders
Each product must be securely packaged so that it reaches the buyer in one piece. Make sure that the goods, including the original packaging, are undamaged.
Shipping packaging is needed in any case, even if the product is delivered in its original packaging.
Pack goods compactly: fold clothes and textiles in half, put the parts of the product or set together.
Make sure that the data is correct and select the appropriate packaging for the order: the dimensions of the product in the shipping package should not exceed the dimensions in the catalog by more than 30%. If this happens, you will have to pay a fine. In addition, the amount you will pay for the delivery service directly depends on its dimensions in the package.
Check the packaging before shipping — you are responsible for the packaging. The Market will not compensate for damage or loss of the product during delivery if it was packaged incorrectly.
If the damage is noticeable, the staff of the reception points and sorting centers have the right not to accept the order.

If there is no recommendation for your product in the table
It is enough to pack the goods in the factory box in a stretch film.
If there is no factory box:
- Small items pack them in courier packages.
- Put more goods in a box with filler.
How to pack
Into the box
-
Choose a suitable box:
- Not too big, the goods should take up at least ⅔ of the box. In addition, if the packaging is noticeably larger than the product itself, you will have to pay more for its delivery.
- Clean and undamaged.
- Without brand names.
-
If the goods are heavy, place a sheet of three-layer cardboard so that it completely covers the bottom of the box.
-
Put the goods in the box and fill all the available space. filler to fix them.
-
Wrap the box with duct tape so that it lies along the joint valves. One revolution around the box is enough.
-
Put a label on the box so that it is easy to see. How to create a label
In the courier package
-
Choose a suitable courier package:
- It's not too big, and the goods should take up at least ⅔ of the package.

In a stretch film
- If there are manipulation marks on the product packaging, take a transparent film. In all other cases, you can use a film of any color except black.
- Pack the product securely, but do not use too much film. This way you will take care of both the customer, who will not have to unwrap it for a long time, and the environment. Usually 1-3 layers are enough.
- Secure the film with adhesive tape in one layer along the seam.
- Label it so that it is easy to see. How to create a label
Manipulative signs
In the table with recommendations on the choice of packaging it is indicated when manipulation marks are needed. But you can paste them on other products, if you see fit.
You can use your own signs or download the Market templates:
The signs should be clear and legible. It is better to choose moisture—resistant labels so that the sign can be read even if it gets wet. If you use thermal labels do not put duct tape over them — after a few hours the label becomes illegible.
Place the manipulation signs on all vertical sides of the box — in the upper-left corner. Fix the signs so that they do not come off during transportation.
If there are several items in the order
Small items it is better to put them in one package — it will be more convenient for the buyer, and you will save packaging material. There is an exception to this rule: some types of goods cannot be stacked next to each other. You can not pack together:
- liquids with electrical appliances;
- food, household chemicals, fertilizers and medicines — in any combination;
- odorous goods with odour-absorbing goods.
In other cases, decide for yourself whether to put everything together or send several packages.
How to pack multiple items from an order together
The packaging must meet the requirements of all the items in the order.
Pack orders that contain liquids in a box with filler. Place bottles of liquids with their necks facing up.
Stack the goods so that they are not damaged during delivery. For example, don't put heavy goods on top of fragile ones.
How to pack multiple items from an order separately
To ensure that parts of one order are not lost during delivery:
- Label each part of the order.
- Transfer all parts of the order to the sorting center or reception point at the same time. If there are several pallets in the shipment, place all parts of the order on one pallet.
Pallets cannot be picked up after delivery
