# Yandex ID (Key) APK for Android (version 3.0 or lower)

If you have problems with Yandex ID (Key) version 3.0 and higher (for example, your device doesn't match [technical requirements](https://www.yandex.com/support/id/en/authorization/key-access.md) of Yandex ID (Key)), you can install a Yandex ID (Key) version lower than 3.0.

Once this version is installed, the app will no longer be updated.

## Going back to the current version {#new-version}

We highly advise using the latest Yandex ID (Key) app version. To get a new Yandex ID (Key) version:

1. Create [backup copies of accounts](https://www.yandex.com/support/id/en/authorization/twofa-copy.md). You can recover all your accounts from it.

    The backup of Yandex ID (Key) data has to be up to date - less than a year old. Also, to get backup data, you need to have access to the phone number you used when creating the copy.

1. Delete the old app (APK file installed not from the app store). After that, all your accounts will be deleted.
1. Download the app for [Android](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ru.yandex.key&hl=ru) and [recover your accounts](https://www.yandex.com/support/id/en/authorization/twofa-copy.md#reestablish-backup) from the backup.
