# Keyboard design

## Themes {#themes}

To change the design theme:

1. Tap and hold the ![](_images/icon-globe.png =17x20) icon next to the space bar and select ![](_images/android-setting.svg).

1. Go to **Themes** and choose the theme you like.


You can also create a custom theme:

1. In the **Themes** section, tap ![](_images/icon-plus-ios.png =29x20).


1. Choose the background image or background color.

1. Set the color for keys, suggestions and other elements.

1. Tap ![](_images/check.svg =20x).

To change or delete a theme, tap on it in the list of themes.


## Keyboard height {#high}

If the keys on the keyboard seem small to you, increase the height of the keyboard. On the contrary, if the keyboard takes up too much space on the screen, decrease its height.

1. Tap and hold the ![](_images/icon-globe.png =17x20) icon next to the space bar and select ![](_images/android-setting.svg).

1. Go to **Appearance**.

1. Tap **Keyboard height** at the top of the list.

1. Enter the desired keyboard height.

Note that the height is configured separately for vertical and horizontal screen orientations.

## Font size {#size}

To adjust the keyboard font size:

1. Tap and hold the ![](_images/icon-globe.png =17x20) icon next to the space bar and select ![](_images/android-setting.svg).

1. Go to **Appearance**.

1. Tap **Font size**.

1. Enter the font size you want.
