Step 1. Download Yandex Keyboard

You can download the app from official app store:

Step 2. Enable and allow access

1. Launch Yandex Keyboard.

2. Tap and hold the globe icon and select Yandex Keyboard. Enable Yandex.Keyboard and Grant full access. Confirm the permission.

   Note

   While configuring app permissions, you'll see a standard notification about the collection of personal data (passwords, credit card numbers). Yandex doesn't collect input data by default. But you can enable the anonymous and encrypted collection of input statistics so that Yandex Keyboard can provide you with better suggestions.

3. In the setup wizard, tap and hold on the keyboard, then select Yandex Keyboard as the main keyboard for text input.

4. Allow Yandex Keyboard to send extended activity and crash reports:

   • If you agree to send data about activities and failures to Yandex, tap Done.

   • If you don't agree to send data about activities and failures to Yandex, disable the Send extended reports option and tap Done.

Step 3. Customize the keyboard

Tap and hold the icon next to the space bar and select .

Go to Appearance → Themes and choose the theme you like. To create your own theme, tap .
