Suggest an improvement

Yandex Keyboard can become better if you share your suggestions. If you think some options are missing in Yandex Keyboard, suggest an improvement in the chat or via the form below.

Turn on swipe input

To turn on swipe input, go to Yandex Keyboard settingsGestures and voiceContinuous input and enable the To enter text option.

If this option is active but swipe input doesn't work, try removing the language and adding it again. Go to Yandex Keyboard settingsLanguages, remove the language, and download it again. This will refresh the language package, and swipe input will start working.

Yandex Keyboard doesn't appear in some apps

Yandex Keyboard may be unavailable in certain apps. It's mostly the case for banking apps, but the issue is not exclusive to them.

The policy of Apple makes this an expected behavior for any keyboard. That policy restricts the use of third-party keyboards in many apps on iOS. The availability of Yandex Keyboard may vary depending on the device model and OS version. There are no settings that can help with that.

Suggestions don't appear

Try removing the language and adding it again. Go to Yandex Keyboard settingsLanguages, remove the language, and download it again. This will refresh the language package, and suggestions will appear.

The app pops up when I use voice input

When you activate voice input, the screen momentarily switches to the Yandex Keyboard app. This behavior is specific to iOS and can't be fixed.

Find out what data Yandex Keyboard collects

The keyboard will give better suggestions if you enable the collection of anonymous technical data, such as usage statistics, the number of launches, and login frequency. Yandex doesn't collect input data by default. Users' private information, such as passwords, email addresses, phone numbers, and credit card details, is stored on your device.

To disable the collection of anonymous technical data, go to Personalization in the Yandex Keyboard settings and disable the Make Yandex Keyboard better option.

Select a different keyboard

To use another keyboard by default, in your device settings, go to GeneralKeyboardKeyboardsEdit. Select the keyboard you no longer need and click Delete.
