Getting started with the interface
Buttons on the home screen
You can use the home screen buttons to:
 | Go to the app menu. If you're signed in, your profile picture is displayed instead of the menu button. |
 | Enable layers: traffic, parking, Saved places. |
 | View traffic on the map. |
 | View parking lots on the map. Active if the parking layer is enabled. |
 | Zoom in. |
 | Zoom out. |
 | Go to your location. |
 | Go to Favorites. Active if the Transport mode is enabled. |
 | Plot a route between points. |
 | View public transport on the map. |
 | Enable Navigator mode. |
 | Request a taxi. |

App menu
In the app menu, you can:
- Configure offline maps.
- Contact support.
- Go to the map editing menu.
- See your changes to the map and share your impressions of a place that you visited:
- Check the Local Expert tab to see the achievements you earned by submitting reviews.
- Rate the places you visited and write reviews on the Impressions tab. The ratings and reviews help other users make the right choice, and they also help us improve Yandex Maps.
- View the photos of places that you uploaded on the Photos tab.
- View the list of your reviews and edit them on the Reviews tab.
- View the list of your edits on the Edits tab.
- View your saved places.
View your parking settings and history.
- Go to the app settings.
