Travel cards: payment and balance reading
Adding funds to travel cards is currently available only in Moscow and Saint Petersburg.
- Tap Settings.
- In the Travel card payment field, tap the desired line to select the required card (Troika or Strelka in Moscow, Podorozhnik in Saint Petersburg).Note.
Before adding funds to your card, activate your previously paid tickets. If there are non-activated paid tickets, you can't top up your card.
- On the page that opens, enter the card number and the amount you want to pay (via bank card or YooMoney).
- Tap Pay. The specified amount will be transferred to the card.Note.
When you top up your card, activate the paid trips. To do this, find a ticket machine in the metro and select Remote top-up on its screen.
Bring the card to the machine's reader and don't remove it until the trips are recorded.
When it's done, you'll see the card balance with the added funds on the screen.
This feature is only available for smartphones running on Android and supporting NFC. To read the “Troika” card, hardware support of Mifare Classic is also required.
The app can read the balance of the following cards:
All-in-One
90 minutes
TAT
Troika (Wallet + paid service plans: All-in-One, 90 minutes, TAT)
To check the balance:
Enable NFC in your device settings.
Bring the card to the back of your device and wait for the result.
