# Labels

Tag labels are used for grouping tags. Use labels if you have a large number of tags or you want to [make a report using data from multiple tags at once](https://www.yandex.com/support/metrica/en/reports/report-tag.md).

You can create your own label, or use the system labels:

The service allows marking a maximum of 100 tags with the same label.

## Setting tag labels {#set-tag}

To set an existing label for a tag, click the ![](../_assets/tags.svg) icon next to the desired tag on the page with the list of tags. In the window that opens, select the desired label and save changes.

To add a label, click **New label** in this window and enter its name. Then click the ![](../_assets/new-tag.svg) icon and save changes. The new label will be set automatically for this tag.

You can also add a label by clicking **All labels**, then setting it for a specific tag.


## Quick access {#filter-tag}

If you often work with certain tags, use **Quick access**. This option puts the labels in the upper menu:

1. Click **All labels**, then click **Quick access** in the window that opens.
1. In the list, select the labels that you often work with and click **Save**.

The selected labels are displayed above the general list of tags.
