“Ad blocker presence” report

This report contains information about user sessions where a popular ad blocker was used, such as Adblock, Adblock Plus, Adguard, and uBlock. Some technologies may block the Yandex Metrica tag, so your statistics may be skewed towards the lower end.

Ways to use this report

See how many users have ad blockers installed
The report shows you how many website users have ad blockers installed on their browsers.


Find traffic sources that led to the most blocked sessions

Information about ad blockers might be useful when analyzing sources of site traffic. The report helps you understand what percentage of sessions from various sources was blocked.

  1. Go to Reports → Standard reports → Sources → Sources, summary.
  2. Add the following metric:Metrics → Technologies → Ad blocking.


See which operating systems and browsers have ad blockers installed

Sometimes it is useful to have data about the operating system and browser that an ad blocker is installed on.

  1. Go to Reports → Standard reports → Technologies → Operating systems.
  2. Add the dimension: Dimensions → Technologies → Browser. Then add this metric: Metrics → Technologies → Ad blocking.


Report structure and settings

Data in the report is divided into two groups: users with ad blockers and users without ad blockers.

This report supports all settings available in Yandex Metrica except for attribution models.
