# Recommendation widget statistics

## Monitoring statistics on recommendations {#recommendations}

It's available in two versions:

- Recommendation totals (impressions that passed the visibility check and clicks for individual recommendations).
- Grouped view (widget impressions that passed the visibility check and clicks on it).

Recommendation views are tracked for each individual piece of content, provided that at least 50% of the widget slot remains visible on screen for 2 seconds or longer.

The impression counts for the whole widget as long as at least one recommnedation is shown.

To view statistics for recommendations, do the following:

1. Go to the [Statistics](https://partner.yandex.com/v2/statistics/constructor/) section.
1. Choose the **By recommendation widget** report template or create a custom report.

Link a [Yandex Metrica](https://metrika.yandex.com) tag to the site where you'd like to place a widget:
1. Go to **Website Ads** → **Sites**.
1. Click **Edit** under the site name.
1. Open the **General** tab and enable the option **Show YAN reports in Yandex Metrica**.
1. Enter the tag ID.
1. Click **Save**.

After you link the tag, you'll see a new report section in Yandex Metrica (**Standard reports** → **Monetization** → **Recommendation widget**). You will find two reports there:

- **Recommendation widget, traffic**: See how clicks on recommendations affect session parameters, such as page depth and average revenue per session.
- **Recommendation widget, popular**: Check which recommendations users clicked on more often.

## Advertisement statistics {#advertisement}

Recommendation widgets include Yandex Advertising Network tools that let you view ad statistics. To view [statistics reports](https://www.yandex.com/support/partner/en/statistics/working-with-reports.md), open **Website Ads** → **Recommendation widget** and click **Statistics** next to the desired widget.

To register an impression for a full ad unit, at least 50% of ads shown in the widget must remain in the viewable area for 2 seconds or longer.
