Verification of delivery terms by the quality control service

Any changes to delivery terms (delivery period and cost) are verified by the quality control service. Offers with incorrect delivery terms are removed from publication on Yandex.Market. Errors may be recorded against the store, such as:

Delivery period is specified incorrectly

Delivery cost is specified incorrectly

Delivery to the region isn't available

How the verification is performed

A quality control service employee compares the delivery regions, cost, and terms that are published on Yandex.Market with data from the following sources:

  • The store site or price list.

  • Store order confirmation received by the buyer.

  • Information provided by the store employee (by email or phone).

An error is recorded against the store if:

  • The delivery period and/or delivery cost don't match those advertised on the service.

  • There is no delivery service offered to the region in which the store's offer is being advertised.

Possible reasons for errors

Note. Here and further in this section the names of elements in the Russian-language version of the store account and their exact translations into English are shown. Interface texts are translated automatically when switching to the English version, so they change from time to time and may not match the translated names on this page.
Error related to the delivery region
  • The condition Нет курьерской доставки (“No courier delivery”) is set for the region. However, in the tab Службы доставки (“Delivery service”) some services are marked. As a result, the store's offers are displayed in this region with the note Срок и стоимость доставки уточняйте при заказе (“Verify delivery period and cost at the time of order”), and the service considers that delivery is offered to this region.
  • When creating the delivery region the store failed to deselect the regions, districts, cities or localities in a particular region to which it doesn't offer delivery.
Delivery period error
  • The delivery schedule has been specified incorrectly. Remember that the delivery period on Yandex.Market can change throughout the week depending on your delivery schedule.

  • The delivery terms for your store's region are configured simultaneously in the price list and in your store account. (Yandex.Market displays the delivery period from your store account if Использовать данные из прайс-листа (“Use data from the price list”) is not selected).

  • The store enters delivery data in YML format, in the delivery-options element, which is set at the level shop. In practice, the store takes longer to deliver some products as opposed to others.

  • The delivery period depends on the product category, but the delivery terms haven't been specified for the given category (in this case the group conditions Прочие категории “Other categories” will apply for this category).

Example

A delivery period of one day is specified for an offer. According to the configured delivery schedule, the store dispatches orders seven days per week. In this case, if an order is placed on Friday, the store must deliver it on Saturday, and Saturday orders are dispatched on Sunday. If the store fails to make deliveries on the weekend and only delivers on weekdays, then an error will be recorded against it.

To correct the error, you need to adjust the delivery schedule and specify Saturday and Sunday as non-business days.

Pricing error
  • The delivery terms for your store's region are configured simultaneously in the price list and in your store account. (Yandex.Market displays the delivery cost from your store account if Использовать данные из прайс-листа (“Use data from the price list”) is not selected).

  • The store enters delivery data in YML format, in the delivery-options element, which is set at the level shop. In practice, the store charges more for shipping some products than for all others.

  • The cost of delivery depends on weight, but the weight is specified incorrectly or not specified at all.

    Note. The weight of the product is determined by the value indicated in the price list (the weight element for YML and CSV files). In the case that it isn't indicated there, it is determined using Yandex.Market data (for example, data from the product profile). If the weight is not specified anywhere, it is calculated automatically for categories from this list.
  • The delivery cost depends on the product category, but the delivery terms have not been specified for the given category (in this case the group conditions Прочие категории (“Other categories”) will apply for this category).

Example

The price list indicates a delivery cost of RUB 300 for your local region, but the price specified in your store account is RUB 200. The store thinks that it has the right to charge RUB 300 for delivery. However, the settings in the store account take precedence, so the shipping cost shown on Yandex.Market is RUB 200.

To correct this error, you must correctly specify the source of data for delivery rates for your local region.
