Delivery beyond the Moscow Ring Road (MKAD)

If you deliver your products to Moscow Oblast, you can configure delivery costs beyond the Moscow Ring Road (MKAD) by distance. To do this, specify the distance from the MKAD for which a given rate is valid.

If you implement these distance settings:

  • Delivery regions will be determined automatically according to the specified distance from the MKAD.

  • Your offers with delivery beyond the MKAD will be shown to users in Moscow Oblast.

Delivery beyond the MKAD can only be configured for areas in Moscow Oblast that are located no further than 150 km from the MKAD. For regions of Moscow that are outside the MKAD, your Moscow delivery rate will apply.

Attention. Configurations for delivery beyond the MKAD is only available to stores whose local region is Moscow.

How to set up delivery beyond the MKAD

Note. Here and further in this section the names of elements in the Russian-language version of the store account and their exact translations into English are shown. Interface texts are translated automatically when switching to the English version, so they change from time to time and may not match the translated names on this page.

  1. Go to the page Настройки → Доставка и оплата (“Settings → Delivery and payment”).

  2. In the section Курьерская доставка и точки продаж → Регионы доставки (“Courier delivery and points of sale → Delivery regions”), click Добавить (“Add”). The page Региональные настройки (“Regional settings”) will open.

  3. Select the tab Доставка за МКАД (“Delivery beyond the MKAD”)to specify the lower and upper bounds of the distance from the MKAD. The specified values will set bounds for the distance from the MKAD, on the basis of which a group of regions in Moscow Oblast will be formed.

  4. Enter the distances in kilometers. For example, enter the values 5 and 15. The maximum distance you can specify is 150 km.

    Note. To avoid overlapping groups of regions, be sure to specify distinct distances for each group. For example, for a group close to the MKAD, set the bounds from 0 to 10 km. For a more distant group, set the bounds from 11 to 20 km, and so on.

  5. Press Подтвердить (“Confirm”). All municipalities that belong to the new regional group will appear in the section Что входит в группу регионов (“What is included in the group of regions”) .

    Each group is formed by referencing a list of cities. It doesn't include the minor settlements of Moscow Oblast. If you wish, you can add them to the group in the tab Регионы (“Regions”), as described in step 6.

    If you want to delete a region from the group, click on the element next to the name of the region.

    Note. If a new group contains a region that was previously added to another group, you will receive a message about the issue. You will then have to choose one of the following actions: leave the region in the previous group or move it to the new one. The region will then be subject to the delivery conditions of the group in which it is located.

  6. Add a new region to a given group if necessary. To do this, go to the tab Регионы (“Regions”) and mark the relevant region or regions.

  7. Enter the name of the regional group and click Сохранить (“Save”).
    Tip. To make it easier to work with a given group, include its distance from the MKAD in its name. For example, MO 5-10 km.
