# Clear cache

The browser cache stores copies of the pages you visited, images and videos you viewed, and other content. This helps reduce the number of requests sent to sites.

You need to clear cache from time to time: to free up space on your hard drive or if pages are not displayed properly, for example, with an outdated design.
