# Change the region

With advanced search filters, you can search for documents in sites in a specific region.

To change the region:

1. To the right of the [search bar](https://yandex.com/search/?text=yandex), click ![](../_assets/prologue.svg).
1. By default, [your region](http://yandex.com/support/common/yandex-settings/region-settings.html) is specified there. To select another, click ![](../_assets/icon-advanced-search-but.svg).
1. Enter the region's name. In the search results, you'll see the documents that match the selected region.

To reset the filters, collapse the advanced search panel by clicking ![](../_assets/prologue2.svg).
