What is Coordinated Universal Time (UTC)?
Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) is the primary time standard by which the world regulates clocks and time. Time zones around the globe are defined as a positive or a negative offset from UTC.
Note. UTC time does not change in winter or summer. Therefore, for those places where there is daylight savings time, the UTC offset is changed instead.
