# Configure the app

Tap **Settings** to see the app settings:

Select the desired city from the list.

{% cut "The map language" %}

Select the map language.

The setting changes the language only for the map objects. The interface language is set in the phone settings.

This way, you can use the map in the local language wherever you are without changing the interface language.

Different languages are available for cities in different countries.

{% cut "Notifications" %}

Turn on this option to receive messages about important metro news (station closures, new stations, etc.).

{% cut "Select stations by tapping" %}

If the option is:
- off — after tapping on the station name, the **From** and **To** buttons will appear. Tap the station name, then one of the buttons.

- on — the station is added to the **From** or **To** field immediately after tapping its name on the map.

Opens the page with information about the program. Contains links to the License agreement and various Yandex mobile apps.

Use it to send a message to the app support.
