Quick start

Getting started with Adfox is easy:

  • Registering an account takes several minutes.
  • You get codes to embed on your site.
  • You load banners and receive statistics on them.
Online interface

Adfox is an online service: you create an account and can start working immediately. There's no need to install and configure anything on your servers.

Easy transition

Our employees have a lot of experience helping transition from other technologies to Adfox: they can suggest the optimal process for transitioning, help reproduce the site structure, add the necessary formats, and smoothly transfer your campaigns and banners.

Compatibility

Adfox is compatible with other advertising technologies: you can place ads from third parties and use any audit systems.

Monetization

Monetization allows you to automate traffic sales and earn more from them. The product is integrated with Adfox, and you fully control the volume and priorities of the traffic for sale.

A variety of ad formats

You can use any ad formats in Adfox. Even using complex formats doesn't require a lot of special knowledge. It's easy to add any new format directly in the interface.

Flexible ad targeting

Use flexible ad targeting settings to select the audience you need and optimize how the site's ad resources are used.

Campaign analysis

View campaign and banner statistics to monitor campaign progress in real time and make the necessary adjustments.

Two types of statistics are available:

  1. Tags: Impression and click data that are available in the interface for informational purposes almost without delay.
  2. Reports: Verified data that's available in the interface in real time. You can download them in Excel or CSV format.

Interface

The Adfox interface appearance depends on the set of enabled modules and user type.

Main modules

: To switch modules, use tabs in the main menu. The following tabs are available to the administrator (the user who created the account) by default:

{% cut "Dashboard" %}

You can add widgets based on Adfox reports to the Dashboard. Unlike reports, widgets contain statistics for a short period of time, such as a day, the last three days, or a week. You can flexibly manage data: change views or change the set of metrics to be shown on the chart without refreshing the page.

{% endcut %}

{% cut "Campaigns" %}

Here you can work with all campaigns of your account: add new campaigns and change the existing ones.

{% endcut %}

{% cut "Users" %}

Use this tab to add users (for example, [advertisers](users/advertiser.md), [assistants](users/assistant.md), and [site owners](users/webmaster.md)) and manage their access rights and system parameters.

{% endcut %}

{% cut "Sites" %}

This tab contains logically distinct sites, sections, and platforms. Here you can add new sites and edit their parameters.

{% endcut %}

{% cut "Log" %}

Use this tab to view information about all actions in the account.

{% endcut %}

{% cut "Settings" %}

This tab contains tools for configuring banner types, site categories, banner locations, profiles, changing site owners' and advertisers' access rights, changing contact information and passwords, and managing notifications.

{% endcut %}

{% cut "Monetization" %}

Use this tab to manage [monetization](monetization/monetization.md) channels.

{% endcut %}

{% cut "Reports" %}

Use this tab to select and view [campaign reports](statistics/reports/index.md).

{% endcut %}

{% cut "Marking" %}

The tab contains tools for [ad labeling](labeling/about.md) (submitting ad details to the Unified Register of Online Advertising). This is a required step if you sign direct contracts with contractors (advertisers or agencies) and launch ads to be displayed in Russia.

{% endcut %}

For other types of users, the selection of tabs is limited. For [assistant](users/assistant.md) users, tab availability is managed by the administrator. For [advertisers](users/advertiser.md) and [site owners](users/webmaster.md), the availability of the main menu tabs is preset by the system.

: The Adfox interface uses a multi-level navigation panel.

You can find the main menu with all available modules in the left-hand panel. The active tab is highlighted white.

When you open lower-level items, a [breadcrumb trail](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breadcrumb_navigation) appears, showing the path from the main menu to the current item. Under the navigation bar, a second line of tabs opens: it contains settings that are available for the current item. This way, you can always see which campaign you're setting up a banner for or which site the selected ad platform belongs to.

: To find an item more quickly, use the search bar at the top of the page.

Using the search bar, you can:

- Find campaigns, banners, ad platforms, and more.

- Go directly to the main tabs inside an element, such as campaign parameters, banners, and reports. To do this, hover over the found item's name and click the appropriate icon to the right of it.

You can search by item name or ID.
