Description of the issue in the interface Solution
Site cannot be considered optimized for mobile devices because the main page is not optimized. Go to the Tools → Audit pages for mobile compatibility page in Yandex.Webmaster to view detailed information on the issue. Here you can check how mobile-friendly specific pages of your site are.
Site cannot be considered optimized for mobile devices, as the main page could not be loaded for audit. Check the server settings and, if necessary, contact the hosting provider.

Most likely, the main page was unavailable when the site was checked.

Check the site's main page in Tools → Audit pages for mobile compatibility. If the audit is passed successfully, submit the site to be rechecked in the Troubleshooting → Site diagnostics section: click Check next to “The site is not optimized for mobile devices”.

The website can't be considered optimized for mobile devices as 90% of requested pages couldn't be loaded for checking. Check the server settings and, if necessary, contact the hosting provider.

Most likely, the pages were unavailable when the site was checked.

Check individual pages in the Tools → Audit pages for mobile compatibility section. If the audit is passed successfully, submit the site to be rechecked in the Troubleshooting → Site diagnostics section: click Check next to “The site is not optimized for mobile devices”.

Many pages are not optimized for mobile devices.

The site is considered to be optimized for mobile devices if the number of non-optimized pages is below a certain threshold. The limit is calculated dynamically depending on the number of indexed pages on your site.

If you see this message, the threshold was exceeded for the site. We recommend that you edit the pages from the list provided in Yandex.Webmaster.

After making changes, check individual pages in Tools → Audit pages for mobile compatibility. If the audit is passed successfully, submit the site to be rechecked in the Troubleshooting → Site diagnostics section: click Check next to “Site is not optimized for mobile devices”.

Many pages with different content redirect to the same page of the mobile version of the site.

We don't recommend to make redirects from a number of pages of the main version to the same page of the mobile version. It can confuse the users of mobile resources.

Yandex.Webmaster lists the pages that have different content but redirect users to the same page of the mobile version.

In this situation, we recommend that you set redirection to corresponding pages of the mobile version. If this is impossible (for example, the content from several pages is combined on one page of the mobile version), you can leave only redirects from the main page or from some pages where they are appropriate.

Could not load the site for Audit. Site cannot be considered optimized for mobile devices.
This means that the Yandex mobile robot failed to access your site's pages. Check:
  • Server response when accessing the website pages.
  • The robots.txt file. The file might prohibit indexing by the mobile robot. In the server logs, Yandex's mobile robot is indicated as Mozilla / 5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 8_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit / 600.1.4 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version / 8.0 Mobile / 12B411 Safari / 600.1.4 (compatible; YandexMobileBot / 3.0; + http: // yandex .com / bots).
There are no auditable pages, so the site cannot be checked and considered optimized for mobile devices. Contact support for help on this issue.
